Violent anti-choicer gets her own movie
In a myth-making new film, Angela 'Blac Chyna' White plays the role of Bevelyn Williams, a violent activist convicted for violating the federal FACE Act.

In April, rePro-Truth published an in-depth piece on Bevelyn Beatty Williams, the anti-choice movement’s new ‘It Girl.’ Williams is an anti-choice activist involved in the “rescue movement” - the militant, direct-action wing of the anti-choice movement that is indelibly tied to murder and other acts of violence. A Black conservative, Williams loves Donald Trump, hates the Black Lives Matter movement, pals around with the chauvanist-fascist Proud Boys, hocks supplements, and has a history violence and other criminal activity spanning decades.
If you haven't yet read rPT's piece, please do. (When you watch the movie trailer, below, you’ll recognize events described in rePro-Truth’s reporting.)
Meet the anti-choice movement’s new 'It Girl'.
She's a young, Black, stay-at-home wife and mother of a young child. She's a right-wing Christian with a titillating conversion story and a history of violence and larceny. She says she's had three abortions; she now travels th…
Bevelyn Beatty Williams shot to anti-choice stardom after her federal conviction in 2024, of violently violating a 1994 federal law, the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act), during a raucous two-day-long protest outside a community reproductive healthcare center in Manhattan on June 19-20, 2020. As rPT detailed:
Video evidence presented at Williams’s federal trial “shows[] her shoving, yelling, and ultimately injuring individuals who either brushed against her, addressed her or tried to get by her.” Williams also “used force to try to ram through barricades, shoved an apparent Planned Parenthood volunteer, and took a swing at a security guard.”
Additionally, court records document that when a staff member attempted to open the door to the healthcare facility, Williams repeatedly shoved her body against the door, refusing to move, trapping and injuring the staff member’s hand.
“She’s crushing my hand!” the staff member screamed repeatedly.
“Video footage of the incident, filmed from multiple angles” and presented at Williams’s federal trial, showed the staff member “screaming[] that Williams was smashing her hand, but Williams continued to shove the door shut while singing ‘we shall not be moved.’ The video footage showed that it took several people pulling on the door to free [victim’s] hand as Defendant (Williams) continued to press the door shut.”
While Williams’s attorney attempted to blame the injured victim as “the aggressor,”12 the jury disagreed. Indeed, when Williams later attempted to have her conviction overturned, the Court, too, did not buy into Williams’s victim-blaming argument. The Court wrote:
This characterization runs counter to the evidence presented at trial; indeed, videos from multiple angles of the incident show Williams repeatedly shoving her body backwards into the door while [victim] yelled that her hand was being smashed. The videos also show multiple people trying to pry the door open to free [victim’s] hand while Williams leaned back on the door. Williams continued to press the door down on [victim’s] hand… [T]here was sufficient (indeed, compelling) evidence to support Defendant's conviction in this case.3
Williams was sentenced to 41 months in prison for her criminal acts. Following her sentencing, Williams created a GiveSendGo fundraising page for herself that has brought in $346,059 (as of June 2, 2025).
In January 2025, she was pardoned by President Donald Trump. As the federal government notes, however, the pardon “does not signify innocence.”4 Nor does it expunge or erase Williams’s conviction from her crimunal record.5 “Expungement is a judicial remedy that is rarely granted by the court and cannot be granted within the Department of Justice or by the President.”6
Now, Bevelyn Beatty Williams is getting her own movie.
Based on the movie trailer and official synopsis, the movie, Pardon Me: The Bevelyn B. Williams Story, appears to be an exemplar of hagiographic propaganda. “Propaganda-making is a part of the larger process of legend- and myth-making. Much the same psychological mechanisms are at work in both, but in propaganda the legends and myths are deliberately created.”7 Hagiographies then “perpetuate myths and legends, [further] blurring the lines between fact and fiction.”8 Consider the following official description and synopsis of the movie.
Pardon Me official Facebook page: “Pardon Me The Movie tells the true story of Bevelyn B. Williams, a Black pro-life activist targeted by the Biden DOJ under the FACE Act. Convicted for peaceful protest, her journey reveals the cost of faith, courage, and dissent in a politicized system.”
Pardon Me official YouTube page: “Bevelyn B. Williams, a bold and unapologetic Black pro-life activist, has spent her life overcoming adversity. Her unwavering faith and commitment to justice led her to peaceful protest—but that courage comes at a cost. When she’s targeted by the Biden Department of Justice and prosecuted under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, Bevelyn finds herself at the center of a high-stakes legal battle. Convicted and imprisoned for standing up for her beliefs, her story becomes a powerful testament to resilience, conviction, and the cost of dissent in a system where justice has been politicized.”
This is myth-making. It’s hagiographic propaganda at its finest.
According to anti-choice organization Live Action News, the movie “begins from Williams’s childhood, before she became a Christian.”9 (As rPT noted, archived captures of Williams’s biography on her ministry's website state that Williams had a “religious upbringing,” attended church on Sundays, and has been “saved” by Jesus her whole life.) Williams told Live Action News, “The movie is going to highlight my abortion at 15 … and then work its way to the trial and how it was rigged, and pretty much expose that.”10 Williams added:
This is gonna be a great opportunity to close some gaps. Culturally speaking, I feel like the Black community has not been as privy as it should be to abortion, because unfortunately, we take up a big chunk of the clientele for abortion.
So I’m loving the fact that the actors are not your conventional actors but they’re gonna open up a great opportunity for people from all communities whether its the Christian community, whether its the Black community to come and listen to this story.
I’m big on bridging gaps. … I’m looking forward to an opportunity for this movie to help bridge cultural gaps and open up eyes.11
The movie is expected to be released this summer. You can watch the trailer below.
